Belton Baits really impressed me. I fish saltwater most of the time, with the occasional freshwater trip, and their 3.2” ribbed paddle tails in chartreuse and shad have been solid in both bodies of water. I’ve been throwing them on jig heads and tandem rigs, mostly targeting speckled trout and flounder, and they’ve been doing some work. If you know Texas Gulf water, you know how murky it can be. The chartreuse was perfect at grabbing attention and getting bites fast. The action is smooth, the durability is better than I expected, and you can tell the quality is there. It’s always cool supporting a Central Texas based company, especially when the baits actually perform. I’ll for sure be restocking soon!
